Open positions
The person we are looking for will be responsible for customer support on our software solutions, providing clarifications and indications, both for Italian and foreign customers, thus becoming a MAIOR guide for public transportation companies. The candidate should have good computer skills, analytical, and organizational skills.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, excellent knowledge of English (knowledge of other languages will be a plus), good teamwork skills, negotiation skills, proactivity, customer orientation, working in Florence.
The work mainly consists of the definition, planning, and implementation of software tools, within a development group organized according to the SCRUM methodology.

Requirements: First level degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent, Java knowledge, knowledge of the relational data model, and knowledge of English.
Desired skills: Second level degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent, knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL databases, knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and knowledge of Angular and Scala.
The person we are looking for will be responsible for the implementation, in Italy and abroad, of software systems developed by MAIOR and for the performance of related services, such as business process analysis, application configuration, training and online and on-site support. You will have to combine a good knowledge of the public transport sector, analytical and planning skills, methodological, organisational and managerial competences, and keep up to date with issues related to the world of public transport.

Requirements: Degree in Transport Engineering, experience in Project Management (organisational planning, teamwork skills, management of business meetings, public speaking, time management, problem solving), excellent knowledge of English (minimum B2), knowledge of additional languages (in particular Spanish or Portuguese), negotiation skills, proactive, customer oriented, availability for frequent national and international transfers, residence in the province of Florence or availability to relocate.

Requirements: First level degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent, knowledge of procedures and methods of Software Testing, analysis of project specifications, Test Cases writing and Test Plan definition, execution of functional and non-functional tests and Regression, execution of different levels of testing (System, Integration, Acceptance), use of bug tools, task and documentation management (Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Excel), knowledge of the Agile methodology, excellent approach to problem solving, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent ability to collaborate and excellent ability to work on different projects at the same time.
